Stretch Break is an ergonomic app that helps prevent Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs) by gently reminding you to take periodic breaks while using your computer. Full-motion animated figures show you how to properly perform stretches.
Stretch Break was designed by a team of health care professionals who carefully reviewed each stretch in the app. Stretches focus on parts of the body most likely to be harmed by RSIs including the neck, arms, hands, back, legs, and wrists. Eye exercises are also included. The Kids version contains 20 stretches. Several focus on stretching the muscles associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The app also contains ErgoHints guidelines for setting up an ergonomically correct workstation as well as a series of ErgoReminders that reinforce good ergonomic principles. Research proves that it works.
